New Fanatec CSL P1 Wheel Rim

Well the new rim, not a complete wheel as first thought, was listed for sale this morning on the Fanatec website for 150 euros and is in stock and has been branded the CSL series P1 wheel.

This is a multi platform rim, PC – XBOX ONE – PS4, that will via a new quick release system fit on both the CSW v1 and v2 wheel base.

Interesting enough is that there is also a mention of CSL wheel base which as of yet is not for sale but sounds like it could be a slightly better priced wheel base coming in the future.

Fanatec has posted some news about a possible new wheel due to launch any time now.

They have stated on their blog that they have them in stock and they will be on sale this week, but as of yet all we have is this single picture from their Facebook page,

I think its going to be a lower priced wheel base and rim possibly packaged with a set of pedals to appeal to new sim racers looking for an all in one setup at a decent entry point price wise as a way of getting started in sim racing.
