KartSim
Today sees the release of the KartSim content pack for rFactor 2. KartSim is a close partner of rFactor2 and have created this pack with their own developers.
The pack, on release, contains 3 laser scanned circuits and two types of kart.
Circuits
Buckmore park international circuit
Buckmore park is an MSA approved circuit located near London, England. Because of its location and links to two motorways, this is Britain’s busiest circuit. It’s also claimed this is where Ron Dennis discovered Lewis Hamilton in the 1996 Champions of the Future Event.
Glan Y Gors
Glan Y Gors is a 1.2Km circuit located in wales. A technical challenge with all types of corners and elevation changes. We can’t wait to get our hands on this!
Paul Fletcher International
Paul Fletcher International is the largest outdoor Karting circuit in the UK and also marks the last circuit in this KartSim pack. Located near Grantham in the UK (Not too far from Pitlanes HQ!) it looks to be a challenge, but beautiful at night!
Karts
IAME Senior X30 UK
Powered by a 125cc engine, this immediate feeling kart should provide lots of fun and close battles in the KartSim DLC.
Rental Kart
The rental Kart has fixed gearing and is powered by a 4 stroke engine. Interestingly it has lights. We love the idea of a 24 hour kart race!!!
