James Mabe has released a few early development screenshots of his JM Virtual Tracks Florida Speedway. This creation has been scratch built using LiDAR data to ensure accuracy.
This circuit looks to offer total flexibility on the rFactor 2 platform with both road and oval configurations planned to be in the final release. Perfect for the soon to be released stock cars from ISI or the eGT & PX mods from United Racing Design. It’s sure to be the perfect setting for many forms of racing!
If you’re unfamiliar with James’s work, he is the chap behind the awesome Gingerman Raceway for rFactor 2. This is available from the United Racing design store by clicking here for €3.50.
While in production of JM Virtual Tracks Florida Speedway, James is also taking a different tact on how to fund it. This time around he has set up a Patreon campaign. For those unaware, Patreon is a crowdfunding site with a twist. With Patreon you pledge an amount and that’s paid monthly. It’s a way funding someone in such a way that they can pursue activities that they wouldn’t normally. So, here we have a guy who can create high quality tracks who is basically saying “Guys, this takes a lot of time. How about some financial help?”
If you would like to help James on his quest to provide high quality content for rFactor 2, how about pledging to throw a few dollars his way each month? You can take a look at his patreon campaign by clicking here.
